PIK supports on-ramp (crypto to fiat) and off-ramp (fiat to crypto) for USDT and USDC. These use the same FX Conversion API as all other conversions — just specify the sell and buy currencies.

On-ramp — crypto to fiat

Convert a USDT or USDC balance into AUD or USD. Use on-ramp when:
  • You accept stablecoin payments but want to hold or pay out in fiat.
  • A connected account has received crypto and wants to convert to AUD for domestic use.
  • You want to settle cross-border stablecoin receipts into your local currency.
Call POST /api/v1/fx/conversions with sell_currency set to USDT or USDC and buy_currency set to AUD or USD. Use Rates for immediate execution or Quotes for a locked rate.

Off-ramp — fiat to crypto

Convert an AUD or USD balance into USDT or USDC. Use off-ramp when:
  • You want to move value into stablecoins for cross-border transfer.
  • You want to pay a counterparty in USDT but hold AUD.
  • A connected account wants to convert fiat savings into stablecoins.
Call POST /api/v1/fx/conversions with sell_currency set to AUD or USD and buy_currency set to USDT or USDC.

Supported pairs

USDT to AUD, USDT to USD, USDC to AUD, USDC to USD — on-ramp. AUD to USDT, AUD to USDC, USD to USDT, USD to USDC — off-ramp.

Rates and fees

On-ramp and off-ramp use the same institutional-grade pricing as all PIK FX conversions. A fixed spread is applied on the interbank mid-rate. No separate on-ramp or off-ramp fees beyond the standard conversion spread.

Withdrawing after off-ramp

After off-ramping to USDT or USDC, withdraw the stablecoin balance to any external compatible wallet address via PIK Payouts.
